Wilmer y Samuel son sus verdaderos nombres respectivamente, antiguamente miembros del duo "Eazy Boyz" y del corillo de Dj Herbert en sus grabaciones caseras; pero alcanzan la fama como Baby rasta y Gringo en la discoteca "The noise" que tenia por dueÃ±o a Felix Rodriguez (Dj Negro) luego de un concurso este duo gana el cupo para participar en un tape que llevaria el nombre de la discoteca, de hay en adelante forman una fuerte relacion hasta salir en los siguientes proyectos de Dj Negro ( menos en The Noise 4) fueron considerados como la generacion de relevo del rap en espaÃ±ol, sus liricas estan mas guiadas a representar a su corillo de Carolina lo que crea la posterior guerra con Polaco del corillo de Isabela, aunque tambien han hecho canciones de corte romantico las mas famosas de ellas "Cierra los ojos" y "Necesito" el pasado 6 de junio del 2000 sacaron al mercado la produccion "Romances del Ruido" siendo esta la tercera produccion en su carrera ( la primera "The new prophecy" y "Baby rasta & Gringo Live").

A lo largo de su carrera tuvieron por enemigo a Dj Eric debido que era el Dj de Polaco, Lito y Mc Ceja, luego la relacion entre Polaco & Lito y Eric se rompio, lo que hizo posible la participacion de Baby rasta & Gringo en "La Industria 6" y posteriormente en Romances del Ruido, luego de un par de aÃ±os Baby Rasta grabo una cancion a duo con Mc Ceja Titulada "Se lamentaran", que salio en la tercecra produccion de Mc Ceja(Boricua State of Mind)

Fueron miembros principales de "Los jinetes de la muerte", y el blanco mas facil de los novatos para adquirir fama aunque siempre los apagan apunta de puyas liricales; en el 98-99 dieron una serie de conciertos en Venezuela representando a The noise el las cuales despertaron la inquietud hip-hop de los crecientes grupos venezolanos. A Baby rasta se le vio aqui en Venezuela junto a una bailarina erotica llamada Katiuska lo que hizo alargar su estadia en Venezuela por varios meses. Un duo que se la comia en tarima, guerreros y maleantes como ellos solos. pero su fama se ha visto un poco afectada debido al que no han tenido un progreso o evolucion como cantantes en el genero, por lo contrario se han dedicado exclusivamente a seguir la linea del perreo y la tiraera dee bajo perfil, recientemente sacaron la secuela de romances del ruido, la cual a tenido ventas moderadas.
